In parallel, the Francophone Community Immigration Pilot will also commence in the fall of 2024. This initiative is part of Canada's Francophone Immigration Policy and seeks to increase the number of French-speaking immigrants settling in Francophone minority communities outside of Quebec. By fostering the economic development of these communities and bolstering their demographic strength, this pilot program aims to support the preservation and growth of the French language and culture in Canada.

The process for selecting communities to participate in these pilots will commence in the spring, with further details to be shared by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in the coming months.
