Job Description and Responsibilities:
• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, hallways, and offices.
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals appropriately.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
• Ensure security of all facilities during and after cleaning operations.
• Adhere to all company policies and health and safety regulations.
Employment Qualifications and Requirements:
• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is an asset
• Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products and operation of standard cleaning equipment
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
