Family-owned-and-operated door manufacturer located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, boasting a production area of over 50,000ft2. Our customer range is worldwide, spanning Canadian, American, and Asian markets.

We are looking to hire an individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, precision, and experience in cutting various types of glass to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grind, drill, sand, bevel, and polish glass

• Operate single-function or multi-function process control finishing machines to melt, form, cut or finish flat glass

• Measure, mark, and cut glass panels according to blueprints, templates, or customer specifications

• Assist with inventory management, including tracking glass stock levels and ordering supplies as needed

• Inspect glass for defects, flaws, or imperfections and ensure the accuracy and quality of our glass products

• Maintain information such as quantity, type, and size of the goods

• Maintain and calibrate cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Position Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school

• Intermediate or Advanced level of English

• Minimum 1 year of work experience

• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in handling glass materials and equipment

• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy glass panels and work in a standing position for extended periods.
