Family-owned-and-operated door manufacturer located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, boasting a production area of over 50,000ft2. Our customer range is worldwide, spanning Canadian, American, and Asian markets.

We are looking to hire an individual to work in our door department assembling wooden doors. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Is required to have some experience with power tools and/or wood work and/or windows and doors and glazing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assemble wood products such as window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders and barrels

- Assemble door panels, trusses or modular components to make prefabricated housing

- Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards

- Mark defective parts or products for repair

- Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces

- Make minor adjustments and repairs

Position Requirements:

- Completion of secondary school

- Intermediate or Advanced level of English

- 1 year of work experience in carpentry or woodworking

Area of work experience: Assembly line

Specialization or experience: Green economy sector
